I cannot load CDBCommunication Layer. How can I stop this message from appearing on the picture???

Fix for ACDSee 6.0
Jun 21, 2005 Everytime MS comes out with a security patch for Windows XP Pro my ACDSee would start poping up an error message until I deleated the program and reinstalled. A giant pain that had me ready to ditch ACDSee.
The error message: "can't load cdbcommunication layer"
I recently tried ACDSee's customer service again since some time had past since my first encounter with this problem. This time they had a quick and easy solution and here it is.
Try to register your DBLocalServer.exe COM object by doing the following...
1: Start DOS Command Prompt window by clicking on Start button, Run, and type "cmd"
2: CD into the location of DBLocalServer.exe by typing this (cd "c:\program files\common files\acd systems") in the command prompt.
3: Register DBLocalServer.exe COM object by typing
DBLocalServer regserver
It worked for me, so I thought I'd share it here.

My blackberry 8900 says app error 524 then automatically resets.. help

I'm sorry to say, that it has suffered an unrecoverable crash. All data is lost unless you had a backup on your computer. Typically the device is garbage but you can try to reformat the device using Blackberry Desktop Manager available at www.blackberry.com but it still fails 90% of the time.

Stop 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x82F8FA28, 0x0000102, 0x 00000000) appears on my screen. Blue background. What can I do to repair this?

Your system has suffered an unrecoverable error. Either vital operating system files have been corrupted, deleted or overwritten or your hard drive has failed. I suggest reformatting the drive and reloading the operating system from scratch. This can also be cause by some virus infections currently in the wild ( viruses that are currently circulating the internet) so make sure you boot from a system disk and reformat the drive or drives from this boot disk. Sorry but you have very few chances of a successful recovery from this without reinstalling your operating system.

Unable to reinstall DVD backups after HP SYSTEM RECOVERY failed

Code "purple" means you and your computer are done. It is an unrecoverable error that means you need a new system. However, I have found a couple of postings that claim to know a fix. I can not verify these methods, I do not own a HP or other type of prefab PC (custom is the only way to go). Anyway, here are the links, good luck.

My internal hdd error reads: volume appears to contain on or more

Even if it has unrecoverable problems data may still be good. Recovering it on your own depends on how resourceful you are. You may be able to install it in a machine as a second drive or you can purchase a cable that will allow you to attach it to a computer with a USB cable. If these seem daunghting you may want to hire a professional. There is a good chance that the drive is actualy dying and you don't want to work with it too much. If you work with it to the point that it actualy stops spinning you will have to hire a data recovery company and they cost around $1500 or more.
