Hi moonwag, try updating your printer drivers:

Create a new folder on your desktop and name it newhpdrivers(substitute your manufacturer in new name). Un-intall printer and printer software completely. Go to manufacturers website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu. Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop. Power down your computer. Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on. Power on pc. Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files. Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done

Printed align page but message on printer screen still ask me to place align page in feeder.

It could be stuck on error message that may lead to possible hardware issue for HP Officejet 4110 All-in-One Printer

But after it printer alignment page put the page facing down to the scanner glass if your printer has one
If not then its an automatic alignment sensor issue inside the printer maybe the reason

call hp support 18004746836 they may give you options to upgrade you unit to a newer version with a low cost
this is only exclusive for HP customers you can take advantage of it

Everything prints on left half of page

First, are you using a factory Xerox cartridge and Xerox toner?

As to the document, are you getting the entire document printed or is the document simply cut off as if the printer cartridge is out of position?

Print half of full page

If the printer starts to print and stop in the middle check the eletricity of your place, this may have a variation. If the printer prints a half page and give you the paper, with no jam, check the cartridges and then the main board.

Align page message

I have an OfficeJet 5780 and I have to do the alignment also. The allignment page it prints should have instructions on it. Just put it in the scanner and press "Enter". It needs to scan it to align the print heads.

This is from the manual on their website:

The HP Officejet prompts you to align cartridges every time you install or
replace a print cartridge. Aligning the cartridges ensures high-quality output.
To align the print cartridges when prompted:
1 Press Enter on the front panel.
An align cartridges (test pattern) page prints.
2 Load the align cartridges page face down in the ADF between the paperwidth
guides and press the Enter button again.
3 Recycle or discard the page.
