The problem that im having is; when power is turn on the display light flashes even thought it has loaded everything up, another problem is the unit does not recognize the xm antenna and keeps prompting me to plug one in for subscrition verification(all though its already plugged in). eventhough the unit goes straight to the mp3 player part it still will not respond manual or remotely. it just keeps flashing back from the xm radio symbol then to the mp3 main display. resolutions that ive tried to make were uploading new firmware after that nothing has changed and if you keep doing it it just says that i already have the latest firmware..any help will be appreciated....i just want my radio to work again...

The folders are hidden. I had the same problem but I fixed it. This works for Windows XP but it may as well work with vista/ any other Windows operating systems
1. Go to My Computer 2. Go to your device and open it 3. Click on tools 4. Click on Folder Options 5. Go to the View Tab 6. Under Hidden files and folders click the one that says Show hidden files and folders 7. Click apply then ok
There, your music folder should show up and you will be able to put on/take off your music
There are several ways to check the memory - Go to system Settings --> About is one way. If it looks like it is more full than WMP is showing than reformat the player, b/c you have a corrupt database.
System Setting Options
Sleep : Turns off power automatically after the preset time. Select either <Off>,
<15min>, <30min>, <60min>, <90min>, or <120min>.
Start Mode : You can set the start screen displayed when you turn on the
player. Select from <Main Menu> and <Last State>. Select <Main Menu> to
start the system with the main menu screen while <Last State> will use the last
used menu screen.
Auto Power Off : Automatically turns power off when there is no button
operation after the preset time in the pause mode. Select either <15sec>,
<30sec>, <1min>, <3min>, <5min> or <Always On>.
Default Set : Returns all settings to the default value. Select either <Yes> or
<No>. <Yes> initializes all settings to default. <No> cancels default settings.
Format : Formats the internal memory. Select either <Yes> or <No>.
Selecting <Yes> will format the internal memory and delete all fi les on the
player. Selecting <No> does not format the internal memory. Check before
About : Checks the fi rmware version and memory capacity.
<Firmware Version> displays the current fi rmware version.
<Used> indicates the usage, <Available> indicates the remaining capacity and
<Total> indicates the total memory capacity.
Remember when you format memory like a hard drive you erase everything. Move music to your internal mp3 memory and do a profile - folders should appear.
If you have flashed your player with the firmware update you can get 520 songs on the player for both internal and external combined but be warned that if you exceed this count your player will start to forget the earlier loaded songs - listed but not addressable (playable). The same is for the folder count eg. add album = artist + ablum title (min 2 folders). Plus always profile your songs after loading new music or deleting as this is an index build process to play song 152 = title x. This includes accidental radio recordings to MP3s.
RD2312 , RD2315, RD2317 Lyra™ mp3 flash player Firmware/Application Upgrade Version 3.11 fixes:
Supports a total of 520 songs, in up to 50 folders, with up to 8 levels of subfolders.
Download the latest firmware and flash the MP3 player. Make sure you download the correct firmware for your MP3 player and follow the instruction carefully.
