Your best bet is to go to the Fisher and Paykel website at:

http://www.fisherpaykel.com/customer/ this will give you a phone number to call for parts.

Personally I would not recommend anyone else for such a high end item as some of their models.
Hope this helps you out.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You need an upper felt and a rear drum bearing. If you buy the felt make sure you get the special adhesive to install it. The squeal maybe part of this or it could be the rear drum bearing. You can learn how to replace the rear drum bearing here in the article I wrote. http://gomestic.com/do-it-yourself/how-to-replace-a-frigidaire-dryer-rear-drum-bearing/

My dryer makes a loud squealing noise when its on

Drum bearing or wheel going bad, needs to be replaced. While dryer is apart I would replace bearing, wheels, felt and belt. Fairly cheap parts and not to hard to replace. I buy all my parts at appliancepartspros.com great prices.

I own a FP dryer model DE08-US1, and it is making a high-pitched squeking noise and smells like burning rubber--please help.

I suspect your drive belt is slipping or a worn bearing, you need to have this checked by a Qualified serviceman. Get a firm "Quote" before proceeding.

Dryer problem

You need to replace the rear drum bearing, and also the plastic bearing pads at the front of the dryer, where the drum goes round against the front panel.
There is a repair kit that contains all the parts you need to carry out this repair, with instructions on what to do.
P
It does involve stripping the dryer down to complete these repairs.

Fisher & Paykel Out of Balance

I have the Fisher and Paykel model GWL15 and could not be more disapointed with it. It has been leveled more times than I can count, and 9 out of 10 times it goes out of balance and beeps. It takes me 3 hours to do a small load, and that is with me placing every sock and shirt carefully opposite one another. This thing is just pure junk, and it makes me sick to think what I paid for it. I will just place it on the curb and buy a cheap washing machine to replace it. My blood boils every time I come to the basement to check the wash and hear that stupid beep! I love the dryer, but do yourself a huge favor and don't ever buy a Fisher and Paykel product.

Vibration issue - DEGX1

you need a new bearing. if you lift the lid is going to be on the right side in the middle. and its not fun to replace so i would have a factory authorized company come out and do it. if you try to do it you might damage your drum and have to replace it as well. have fun. call f&p and they might cover the parts cost for you
