Question about Whirlpool LEB6300 Electric Dryer
The dryer is on but won't start when the door is shut. Apparently the light remains on. I can see it from the back of the dryer. I believe the problem is the light switch on the door. If I push it up and flat against the dryer frame and tape it down the dryer will then run. How do I replace this switch? Thank you for your help.
You have to lift the top cover. then from there you can access the door switch of the dryer.
look closely between the front wall and the top cover. pry the top cover slowly and push the plastic lock that is holding the top cover.
then you can see the switch now and replace.
