Unlock problem with OHS1

Have a OHS1 surgical microscope that will not unlock for movement when you activate the switches on the hand control. I can here what sounds like a relay in the base unit, but none of the head joints will unlock.

Why can't I see a slide out of my vivitar microscope. Can see a reflection of light but there is no image of anything other than cloud

dont know the model but it sounds like you have a problem with the light source, Is there a sub-stage condenser?. Try googling
"set up microscope lighting" If the mirror has 2 sides, concave and flat use the flat-plane side. dont point the mirror at an outside sky but rather at a lit pale coloured wall, piece of paper etc.
as a rough start try a piece of white tissue/toilet paper under the
slide and investigate full focus movement ...carefully!!
be careful the the objective stays well clear of the slide.
start with the lowest magnification first. good luck

Dear Madam/Sir, I have an Olympus BX50 microscope (which about 14 years old) and suddenly, from one week to the next, the LED light voltage scale only goes half way even when fully turned on to maximum...

It is most likely your dimmer control switch. It is a variable resistor that controls how much voltage is going to your bulb. You will want to contact a local microscope repair company that services Olympus microscope in order to either get it fixed, or to get the part.

Need qx3 drivers for windows 7 64 bit

The Intel QX3 is not compatible with 64 bit operating systems. It will not work. Sorry.

You can either reinstall Windows 7 as a 32-bit version or purchase a QX5 model which is compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.

Problem with Leica microscope

if you check the operation for spliting to a photo tube. PG 49 you can see the procedure for using a camera (there is a control pin on the side of the scope (shown on pg 49) which you have to operate to switch to the camera output... you should then be able to take your photos :)

Digital blue time lapse

Depending on the model of your USB, (1.1 or 2.0) it may or may not time out. With a 2.0 speed USB it will not typically tome out until about 30 hours of very high activity use. A 1.1, on the other hand can get to do that a lot. If your USB is a 2.0 get a computer expert to check that it is not malfunctioning. If it is a 1.1, I would suggest getting a USB upgrade.
