An SE is caused by a temporary sensor error. If this error code is diplayed, turn off the power to the washer and unplug it.. After 10 seconds, plug it back in and attempt to restart the washing cycle. If the problem persist, the unit may require service.
SE is 'sensor error' This could be anything from a loose wire to a faulty Hall sensor or even a main board failure......You probably need an LG technician. Your machine sounds like it's worth repairing.. Get quotes.........Good luck...Nomess
LE is a very bad error unfortunately. It means that your motor
communication is being lost. Generally on these LG washers it means
that you need to replace the motor sensor. You will have to take the
back panel off so that you can access the motor, remove the pulley and
take the motor off, there is a little plastic sensor that clips onto
the edge of the motor. The sensor is not sold separately from the motor
so you will have to replace the motor unfortunately.
Part would cost you around $120 plus labor.
This is a common error on LG. Better to repair and use it or fix it yourself.
