Re: Same problem, green falshing light
No the boards are located inside the metal chassis block which is located on the left side looking in from the rear. You can get the service manual at the following link which will help you get the chassis out and help you identify the circuit board locations. Its under the mitsubishi category. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..
Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..
1. Open the back cover of your TV. 2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord.. 3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors.. 4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value.. 5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter
Hi, have you replaced the lamp after 2-3 yrs of usage? The lamps used by mitsubishi tend to last around 4000 hrs 1-3 yrs.It is common for the green light to light up.Other common failures are the ballast which is the board that powers the lamp.Also check if its not overheatin, dust out the fans.Heres where u can get the lamp or ballast http://www.discount-merchant.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=wd-52631
Most Likely you need to replace your bulb. On Page 99 of the owners manuel is the LED indications chart. (you can download the manuel here) You are probably having indication number 3, which means the bulb is done. You can find new bulbs on Amazon and e-bay. I recommend you buy the Toshiba brand bulb and not a knock-off, I have heard that they may not last as long and do not look as good.
Good Day, charliek1;
This a very common problem with model. Don't listen to other comments unless the use the correct replacement parts.
SYMPTOM: Power LED does not stop blinking after plug in. CURE: replace C9B01, C9B02,C9B10, and C9B11 (1000 uFD 16V) on the DM PCB. Replace them with part # 181P734030 (680uFd 16V). The DM Board (PCB) is located on the very left side of the TV looking from back. Caution on removing Board and note what cables you disconnect to access the Metal Shielded Board. Good Luck, big IRISH.
if you have replaced the caps on the DM and the FMT and power supply. you can unplug the e2p. the set will run without it if it is the problem, however it will take 5 to 10 minutes to boot up so be patient. if it boots try turning it on. the picture should look terrible because no light engine data is getting to the dm. chances are it is not the e2p, in the over 300 of these chassis i have repaired maybe 10 had a bad e2p. most likely the chassis needs to be rebuilt. check out www.tv-techs.com
This indicates a short happened somewhere in the set, causing the set to go into "safe mode" where it won't let itself turn on. Oftentimes it's the convergence board. Depending on what that will cost you, you may want to just replace the set.
