Question about Panasonic PT-47WX53 47" Rear Projection HDTV
While watching, the blue video component on our PT-47WX53 suddenly jumped about 2 inches to the left, almost uniformly across the screen. Attempting on-screen correction, we found the image could not be shifted all the way back to the center. Adjusting as far right as possible results in distortion.
Given the other answers I've seen here, I'm guessing the solution will involve replacing ICs. If that's the case, I'd love to hear any thoughts on whether I should use the STK392-110 suggested by Slinteriors, or the C5AA00000203 suggested by Terryfic.
If anyone thinks the problem might be something other than ICs, I'd greatly appreciate any ideas you'd care to put forward.
Thanks for any help you offer!
Use the 180's. I've just replaced mine and everything runs fine. I've heard they run cooler.
