Problem for Toshiba Satellite M45-S355 PC Notebook
Broken AC connector
My laptop will not charge and I believe that my connector welds may be broken. Can you tell me how to get the case off of my Satellite M45? I have removed all of the screws; do I need to remove the hard drive as well. The case is loose on one side but not at the front and right sides.

- I get no response when connected to AC/DC adapter. PC has not been "on" better than a year. I am using a substitute adapter as mine is misplaced. The specs on the HP adapter are identical to OEM Toshiba. Can the battery be in state of DEEP discharge? Any advice appreciated, Be Well John- jpeppe7Sep 09, 2008
