First verify the password you are trying to use is correct. You can only legally obtain this by asking for it or if you know it because you own it.

Second, sometimes ipod touch and iphone don't like changes. First go under General settings and Wi-Fi, then select the network, choose to delete the network. Exit back out and then go back in General, Wi-Fi and choose to connect it will then ask you for new password and if they match then you will be allowed to connect properly.
