Question about ASUS V8440 (128 MB) Graphic Card
Initially i had a LCD display and my Biostar motherboard setings were according to that but recently i changed my monitor and bought Desktop monitor so how can i change the power settings from motherboard bcause im getin poor display may be because of the high power settings that are made for LCD
Windows will automatically install your desktop monitor using generic drivers. But if it doesn't, go to safemode by pressing F8 before it goes to windows. Change your settings from there. Also, normally, CRT monitors can take more than LCD monitors.

Test all leads that attach from motherboard to hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA
the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty
even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers also you might uninstall the display adapter restart your computer then reinstall the display adapter and its drivers this would apply to the sound video and game controllers
hope this helps

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on
it or you could download
on the home page you
should see the download software finder under that there will be a list
platform, category sub category price
the category drop down list select drivers then from the price drop down list
select free or which ever applies to your need
