I have a old kelvinator sweep air rotary airconditioner. Must be about 20 years old. Was wanting to know how I find what kilowatts it is and where the model number would be. Thanks

KW if referring to heater would not be in the model or serial on the cabinet. The heater has its own model number. What size breaker does it have

I have a Kenwood oil filled heater which is less than three years old. It is now making a high pitched clicking sound. The model number is 2307K. Type is K230715. Serial # 43712 JN

It is likely in need of service. They don't have any user serviceable parts your recommended in the manual to locate the nearest service center. I am sure they can give you an estimate of the repair cost.

Where is the Manual Heater Reset Switch on an Amana A/C and Heater Unit Model number PTH093B35AJ? The unit has several stickers that state it has a "Manual Heater Reset Switch".

Almost certainly it is a bad relay on the circuit board. Sometimes you can slap the side of the unit by the control box to temporarily unstick the relay, after which the heat will come on for a cycle or two. There are two relays on the circuit board marked "heater 1" and "heater 2". You can order a new circuit board for about $100 or replace the relays at $4 apiece (order online from Digi-Key, requires solder connections). Part number JTN1a-PA-F-DC5V.

On the side of the ceremic panels, a piece has fallen off and the gas/heat is "spitting" out. this happens on the high selection only. are there replacements for the ceremic tiles? I have a wall...

It's time to clean the interior of the heater and replace the ceramic plaques. You can order the plaques ( I would replace all of them) from Master Distributors However, the number your listed is the Serial Number, not the Model Number. The Model Number is on the side of the heater or on some metal tags that are attached to it. It should say, DESA International - Vanguard and have the Model Number and Serial Number on it, along with other vital info about the heater.

Hope this helps solve your problem.

How do I find out the age of my hot water heater tank? 40 gallon propane model # BFG1F4034T3PV Whirlpool Hot Water Heater

Quickest way is to call Whirlpool, give the serial # and they can give you the Manufacture date. Sometimes its on the Information tag. But most of the time it's in the serial number in code.
