You need to create a new account to get a new ID. You can sign up for a new account at: https://login.skype.com/account/signup-form

You want a second account, for yourself? If your Skype logs in automatically when you start it... See the menu in top of the window? Go to Skype and select Sign Out. Then you will see the Skype welcome screen and the option to create a new account. Does that answer your question?

All you have to do is go to skype's website Click Join Skype or Log in on the upper right corner of the website, register your information and a new Skype account will be created.

If you haven't installed Skype on your computer yet you just have to download the installer here. Click the Download Skype button and then run the installer. Once it finishes it will ask you weather you will create a new Skype account or you have an existing one.

Create one if you're new and log in if you already registered.

after you finish creating your account you can download skype on your mac or pc.
once you install it you can sign into skype and add any friends or family members that have skype.

You will need to create a new account. First of all you will need a second email address, you can obtain a new one from websites such as Yahoo or Google, or you might already have a second one which you can use.

Then you need to click "Skype" on the Skype window, go down to where it says "Sign Out", once signed out you will see "Create Skype Account" or "Don't Have an Account" depending on the version of Skype you are using. Then you can create the second account and you will then need to sign in to this account from one of the computers and you will then be able to make Skype calls.
