SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Just changed color wheel on my samsung dlp now it wont power on

First, the color wheel's 4 pin, copper connector which plugs into the DMD pcb should have the copper facing you as you look into the rear of the TV. Second, be sure you trip the lamp door switch in a closed position. Usually, you can just wrap the wht/blu wire around it, so the TV thinks the lamp door is closed. Try these and listen for the color wheel to spin up. If it does not, the lamp will NOT light. It's built that way. You may have a bad color wheel... which I have personally experienced in the past.

It sounds like your color wheel. If you are handy at all you can change it pretty easily for the price of the part (probably around $90-$110) and a couple hours of your time. Here is a link to a video showing you the step by step process. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cx4pbNjsxfU good luck..

Vivitek 51'' DLP color wheel

it's not hard at all, trust me. but you have to go at it slowly when doing it for the first time. it's just about unscrewing and disconnecting wires. Nothing that is hard to reach either. I can help you step by step if you want, just email me.
However, my problem is to get the correct color wheel!!!! I have ordered twice from Vance Baldwin now and looks like they keep shipping me the wrong color wheel? first, the new color wheel does not look like the old one, then its wire connection is shorter making it harder to connect and then when done, the tv switches all the colors around: so red becomes blue and blue becomes red! what's going on???? I tried it twice with 2 new color wheel?I gave them the correct model number along with the serial number and they assure me the color wheel they shipped me is the correct one but I swear it is not!!!! so what's going on?
If anybody has an answer on how to deal with this, please let me know! here is my email:
chuericly@gmail.com. Thanks.

Can you help

Hello Brandon B
Great Job at trying to fix your own TV.....Bravo!! Ok, you may very well have a bad Color wheel. You have already change your Ballast and Lamp. The lamp would have been my first step. If you have a defective color this will surely cause the set not to come on. The DM board detects what going on with the color wheel and will not start the lamp. There are 2 types of color wheel listed for this TV.

RCA DLP color wheel issue

The color wheel is a straight forward installation the indexing is where most people have the trouble as the color wheel needs to be indexed properly after instalation or the tints will be off. I always recomend that anyone needing to replace the color wheel go to this following link as they have the DLP service manuals which will help you get the set apart without harming anything and the site will provide free tech support to actually take you step by step with the replacement as well as the indexing proceedure by on line instant message and thats all free when you purchase the service manual which they email to you right after ordering. Is a very good deal as it makes the job easier and you will always have the manual and free tech support even for other models when you become one of their customers. Heres the link.
