Question about Frigidaire 24 in. FDB750RCC Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher
Our dishwasher's sprayers are not working. The water does fill in from sides and the drain works great, but when it goes into the wash cycle we don't hear the motor kicking in. The control panel and everything else is working - only the sprayer is not spinning. Could it be the pump motor?
I've pulled out the dishwasher and there are no loose wires. I have also removed and cleaned drain and sprayers.
HELP!!! Should we buy a new one or can it be repaired for low cost?

By chance have you cleaned the spray arm out lately? There could be something blogging the water from getting into the arm. In most dishwashers, the arm only spins because water pressure makes it spin.

First, check the holes on the upper spray arm. They should be clear of food and debris.
Next, There's a check valve (ball) built into the motor unit. Either it's stuck, or the motor isn't pausing at the appropriate time to switch from bottom spray to top spray. You can test the check valve by opening the door momentarily while it's running. The spray noise inside should sound distinctly different. Pausing longer will switch back to the lower spray arm.
If the check valve works, you'll need a new timer.

Your drain could be blocked, remove the drain from the trap below the sink and try running the unit on drain, into a bucket. Also check the connection at the trap to ensure it is free from blockage

I,m not familiar with this make or model but all spray arms should be removable bottom normally pulls off top quarter turn and pull and the back water feeding tube can also be removed usually by clips.rinse through thoroughly and hook out food stuffs with needle from the eyelets.the cause is general build up but mainly pips seeds rice etc.solution is to rinse plates before going in machine also checking filter is firmly in place before wash cycle.remove and check filters regulary. hope this helps
