Do you have a setting in the MENU where you can adjust the "Sharpness". If you have this setting, go up a few notches toward the "+" side and see if that helps. Also, there might also be a section in the MENU called "CONVERGENCE" and in this menu, select the "AUTOCONVERGENCE" option and it will reset the screen. You may or may not have this option in your menu, but if not, you should have something where you can adjust the focus. My TV is an RCA projection and I have the setting that I mentioned above, so your should be somewhat similar. As far as the cracking sound goes, some TV sets will do this with age when they are first turned on and are going through the whole "warm-up" process and that should not be a big concern. Hope this helps...

Is it a tube TV or a flatscreen? If it is a tube then it is possible to correct this, however I'm not sure what caused it. Take the back off the TV, and look for the flyback transformer. It is the unit with a red wire coming out of it, going to what looks like a suction cup on the tube. On the unit there should be a small knob labeled focus. Try adjusting this. If it is a flatscreen, sorry, I can't help.

Big white blur, cloud like, Center of LCD TV

I have seen similar effects like this & it is usually due to a flaw in the screen. A replacement screen is the only cure.

Blurred pic on tv

you can take the back off find your flyback (the big part with a red or pink wire going to the picture tube) and adjust the small pot or potentiometer closest to the top while the set is on in front of a mirror and try adusting the focus control.
if cant get nothing but blur replace the fly or focus assembly if not built in the fly. I would change both.

Canon Powershot A75 blurred LCD display

It sounds like the focus element in your lens is not functioning properly. Does the lens retract completely when you turn off the camera? When you push the button does the camera attempt to focus the image? If you do not see any change in the image when you push the button, and do not hear any sound - then your focus motor is either jammed or malfunctioning. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
