I don't think this printer has double side options, you will need to pass the pages one by one.

    From manual

You can print two-sided pages with the HP All-in-One manually. When printing two-sided
pages, make sure to use paper that is thick enough so that images do not show through
    to the other side.
To print on both sides of the page
    1. Load paper into the input tray.
    2. On the File menu in your software application, click Print.
    3. Make sure the HP All-in-One is the selected printer.

    4. Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box.
Depending on your software application, this button might be called Properties,
Options, Printer Setup, Printer, or Preferences.
    5. Click the Features tab.
    6. In the Paper saving options area, select Manual from the Two-sided printing dropdown
    list.
    7. For binding, do one of the following:
    • For binding on the top like a notebook or calendar, select the Flip Pages Up check
    box.
This causes the odd and even pages of your document to print opposite of each
other top-to-bottom. This ensures that the top of the page is always at the top of
the sheet when you flip the pages up in your bound document.
    8. Click OK, and then click Print or OK in the Print dialog box.
The HP All-in-One begins printing. Wait until all the odd-numbered pages are printed
before removing any of the printed pages from the output tray.
A dialog box displays instructions on the screen when it is time to process the second
side of your job. Do not click Continue in the dialog box until you have reloaded the
    paper as instructed.
    9. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen for reloading the paper to print on
the second side, and then click Continue.

You find complete user guide here. check pages 38/39 (190/192 on pdf file)

I will be grateful if you can rate the solution.

    Many thanks.

Some printers automatically print on both sides of a page (automatic
duplex printing); other printers allow you to manually reinsert pages
to print the second side (manual duplex printing); and some printers do
not support duplex printing at all. To find out whether your printer
supports duplex printing, you can check the printer manual, contact the
printer manufacturer, or check the printer's properties by clicking Properties in the Print dialog box.

To find out whether your printer supports duplex printingThe options in the Print dialog box can vary depending on your printer options and configuration.
You can use the following clues to determine whether a specific printer supports duplex printing:

    • Check your printer manual or consult your printer manufacturer.

    • Click the tabs in the Print
dialog box and review the options. If options such as print on both
sides of the paper, duplex printing, or two-sided printing appear on
any of the tabs, the printer probably supports automatic duplex
      printing.
    Notes

    • If you are
printing to a combination copy machine and printer, and the copy
machine supports two-sided copying, it probably supports automatic
      duplex printing.

    • If you have more than one printer installed,
it's possible that one printer supports duplex printing and another
      printer does not.

To manually set up a printer to print to both sides of a sheet of paperWith some printers, you can use the Manual duplex check box under Printer in the Print
dialog box. Word will print all of the pages that appear on one side of
the paper and then prompt you to turn the stack over and feed the pages
    into the printer again.
You can also use the following procedure to set up your printer for manual duplex printing:

    1. On the File menu, click Print.

    2. In the lower-left corner of the Print dialog box, in the Print box, click Odd pages.

    3. Click OK.

    4. After the odd pages are printed, flip the stack of pages over, and then in the Print dialog box, click Even pages.

    5. Click OK.

HP photosmart C4200 - alignment disable

I've run into this problem. The first simple thing to look at is the aligment page itself. Does it have colors on it or is it strictly greyscale/black and white? If your color cartridge is empty/a knockoff/not installed correctly, the printer will just print the alignment page in black/white and not necessarily notify you of a problem. However, the cartridges won't align if the aligment page isn't printed in color.

This is clearly a screw-up by HP, because there is nothing to notify you of this problem in the software or manual. The printer will automatically print an aligment page, and then tell you to scan it. If they did it right there would be some error message notifying the user that it couldn't print an aligment page rather than print one that is worse than useless.

Installed the C4200.Attached to laptop but won't print from apps

When you do a test print, do you do it from the PC or at the printer? If you haven't done it from the PC, go to the Printer Properties page and see if your printer is listed. Right click on its icon and try a test print there. Let me know the results.

Doedn't print all pages

We need to refresh the print spooler service for this type of issues.

Perform the below steps if you are using XP.

Click on start >> run >> services.msc >> in the services window locate the printer spooler and right click on it and select refresh or select stop and again start the service.

Now open the printers and faxes folder in control panel and right click on C4200 printer icon >> properties >> advanced tab >> click on print directly to printer >> click OK.

Now try to print and check for the result.
