Re: refrigerator not working but only bulb lights
Unplug the refrigerator and reinstall your relay. Then plug in the refrigerator and check across the two terminals for power. You can use a light to test across the terminals as follows: With a light bulb in a socket with two wires coming from it. Touch the two wires to the terminals that the main wires are connected to. The light should come on. If the light does not come on your have no power to the compressor.
Next locate the thermostat where you adjust the temperature. Behind the knob will be two wires connected to the thermostat. with the refrigerator unplugged connect the two wires together in some way. Plug in the refrigerator and if it starts and runs the thermostat must be replaced.
I hope you find this of some help. I am from the USA and am not familiar with Italian made products.

Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing thencheck out the last two tips.
If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...
Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to starttrouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then callinga repair person to do a simple thing for you...
the a/c relay is in the under hood battery junction box ( relay # 2 ) there is also a a/c clutch fuse in the same box ( mini fuse # 1 ) if your a/c does't work you may want to check the freon charge first--- the a/c clutch usually falls apart on fords & they **** on marking the fuse covers !!!!!!!
On regular A/C units, the LOW PRESSURE Service Port is always located on the fatter line. the HIGH PRESSURE Service Port is the one on the skinnier line. On vehicle A/C systems using R134a refrigerant, beside the above difference, the service ports are also different from each other.
Always add refrigerant to an A/C unit thru the LOW PRESSURE (SUCTION) Service Port.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.
Could be a number of problems, Faulty pressure switch or if it is controlled by an electronicon it could be a faulty k4 relay switch inside the controller. You could have a blocked separator or a faulty mpv valve. If the unit has an integral dryer that could be freezing up and i have had a problem with a load relay bleed off being blocked. If not it could be the unloader valve, One way to check if it is electrical rather than mechanical is to pull the plug to the solenoid while the problem is occurring, if it Carry's on blowing while the plug is off then it is mechanical.
There is a timer which control the opening and closing of the said valve, check this timer,or if it is in tha integrated circuit check the setting ,if problem not solve disconnect the valve from the timer , and add add a seperate timer and connect it to a power supply
I have seen this happen in cars- the problem is most likel the ignition unit -they do not spend a lot of money on them in production. So here is what is happening . When you are putting key in and out metal filings are being deposited inside unit- this is now causing a short and draining batteries. Start here. This happened with cars a few years ago and they were catching fire in driveways.Call dealer and get replacement ignition- should be cheap fix. Good luck.
