It is unclear which Alpine CD changer you have and what output connections are available from it.
However your Kenwood unit has Aux input terminals at the back. With appropriate cable connectors you should be able to hook the two up. In the Kenwood you will have to select AUX in menu when playing CD changer. Download user manual for Kenwood from this site. http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Support/Car_Entertainment/
Go to the stand by screen an hood the menu button down( second button from the left on the bottom) use the seek toggle on the right to go thru the options(up and down). When u get to the aux hit right or left on the toggle to turn it on.
is it connected to your ignition if so then unplug the cd first and them your battery in this sequence negative first then positive and wait ten secs.then reconnect with positive and then negative and then replug the cd.
This is a common mistake. This problem indicates that you are using the solid blue wire from the head unit to the remote turn-on on the amp. This is a power antenna wire that only receives power when on FM radio. You need to replace this with the Blue & White wire from the head unit (power control wire) to your remote turn-on on your amp. This should solve your issue.
It is all described in the manual, page 27
Here is the instruction manual:
