All you need is to connect the player to the PC and see if the player is detected . Now the drive will be seen on the PC and the required media files can be downloaded or copied to the player. For some players a media converter is needed like the apple iPod where iTunes must be downloaded and converted , Similarly for Philips the media converter must be used as the player might not read some unknown files and can hang the player.
Have you reset the player? Reset the player by holding the off-switch and the
volume-+ (plus) switch. If this doesn't help try this: Connect your player to the pc that has the Philips device manager
running, then reset the player by holding the off-switch and the
volume-+ (plus) switch. As soon as the player shuts off, press and
hold the volume- - (minus) switch. The Philips device manager will
recognize the player now, and recommend a repair, let it do so.
have you tried draggin and dropping the pictures into your mp3player's disk (pops up in My Computer when you plug in you player). try looking around for a photos folder in it or something like that.
if all this fails, I would suggest reading you mp3player's instructions...
First, make sure the hold switch is not engaged. Then: Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off.Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab.Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Try this: Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution. 1) Back up all files on the GoGear 2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) 3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button 4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Hold down the on/off switch and the volume switch at the same time. This will reset your device, but it will also erase all of your saved music.
