If you just want to replace the needle / stylus, all you have to do is pull it out. It will be on there nice and tight, so be cautious. Don't pull the needle itself, instead, the housing where the needle is attached. This, in turn, is connected to the cartridge, which is connected to the tonearm. Here is a diagram:

We've got a DVD stuck in our DVD player in our Nissan Quest. The eject button won't work and the player is showing "No disk" on the display. The player is situated under the passenger seat facing the...

Page 4-62 of the Owners Manual for my 2006 Quest has this procedure for a stuck DVD:

1. Record the radio presets
2. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery for five minutes
3. Reconnect the negative battery terminal
4. Check to see if the jammed DVD has been ejected. If it has not, try to eject the DVD by pushing the eject button.
5. If the disc cannot be ejected see your Nissan dealer for further assistance
6. Re-program the radio presets

I have used this procedure on two occasions, and it works.

The Owners Manual also says that playing DVD-R and -RW disk might cause the player to player to malfunction.

Good Luck!

The cd is stuck

Some CD/DVD units have a manual opening mechanism, it looks like a small hole on the front of the unit, try using a needle or a metal rod that fits by inserting it into the hole and pushing it should open the unit in case it got stuck somehow. If afterwards it continues to work then all's good else you'll have to bring it to a workshop.
