Question about Canon PowerShot A10 Digital Camera
Camera doesn't turn on. I've replaced the batteries.
In some cases such as your concern, it is possible that the battery terminals/prongs of the camera are dirty corroded. It would then be necessary to clean and scrape them. Additionally, it sometimes help to slightly bend the prongs(or stretch if spring type) the said battery terminals so as they provide more pressure/contact to the actual batteries themselves.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
