Help!!! My HP Photosmart D7160 is having a problem printing. When I try to print on my printers screen it says: "Ink system has failed. Unable to print. Refer to printer documentation. Error: 0xc19a0024 Turn power off, then on again." But when I turn it off and back on again it gives me the same message. Please help Problem: HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One InkJet Printer.with on screen error of0xc18a0307. OK here we go..... for the first time for me to have a printer do what it is doing. I don't get it other then it is a bad product by HP I have a C5180 I have had it a while but today I went to print from it and the error of 0xc18a0307 or An 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel. The printer cannot copy, receive faxes, or print. and I did try this other plan they had: Solution ( offer by HP.com ) I tried it it does not work, so now what? Press the On button to turn the printer off. "I did this" Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. "I did this" Remove all the ink cartridges. "I did this" I even added new cartridges. Wait two minutes. "I did this" Plug the power cord into the back of the printer. "I did this" Press the On button to turn the printer on. "I did this" Install the ink cartridges when prompted."I did this" If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved. If the 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel, *service the printer. ( I DID EVERY STEP LISTED, STILL DOES NOT WORK ) * SERVICE THE PRINTER? WHAT THE HELL FOR ? I even went to there on line help at hp.com with live person to help, said they would call me in regards to this issue. I don't think they will call, and I will not waste my time to call them. looks like other people have tried only to move on to a non HP printer. other question if a person takes there item/printer to have service done how much are we talking here price wise? how much money? HP you **** more money off people then you should, this is the last item I will buy from you end of business, good by! and just think every printer I had was a HP I never had a big problem like this before from them ever! hope this helps someone. in some way.

NOW I have to eat my words. HP just called my home at 9:00PM California Time however The Person on the phone was able to help me fix this problem, we did a few test as he called it but got the Printer to work as before with no problems he asked me to print out some papers to test it and that worked great. The guy on the phone was a great help but very hard to understand what he was saying at times, I had to repeat myself a few times but we got past that and now it works. If there is more issues I will add it here asap. thanks for your help.

My HP C5180 is still working, no problems so far.

try there 24/7 online help chat room, tell them the problem and they will have a person call
to help you. As for help to other people who have C5180 try the 1-800 number

-- my call to HP ---

I forgot to add the question the person asked me they asked: What is the temperature of the room
is that the printer is located? Is this a real question or someone playing games at HP? I didn't ask why this question is related to the computer, I just answer the question and moved on.

-- my call to HP ---

    there number 800-474-6836
