Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Audio is messed up!

When i plugged my headphones into my Sansa e250, it only played the background music. After pushing the plug in for a bit, the music would play, but after awhile, it would only play the background music. Everything seems to work fine, only the audio is messed up. I tried charging and resetting it, but nothing works.

Thanks :]

First, make sure you didn't download an instrumental.
Second, make sure the files are in a format that the player recognizes.
If both conditions hold, then upgrade the firmware - you have a corrupt DB.

Sound works for radio not for music volume is up music is playing no sound from any headphones

Did you try plugging in a different set of headphones? If other headphones work, maybe you need new headphones.

Try playing music from your Sansa through the computer, while it is tethered. If you can do this, it may mean that the audio amplifier part of the Sansa is broken-- Usually this means, 'get another Sansa.'

Also, try gently wiggling the headphone plug to the left and right, while it is plugged in. If you get music on and off, its possible that the headphone connector on your Sansa has a broken connection. This is a VERY difficult problem to fix (without breaking or melting something else inside the case) and also usually means it is time to get another MP3 player.

make sure you have headphones plugged in. Once your in the screen for music or radio turn the clear dial (that looks like a border but isn't) clockwise to turn the volume up.

Sansa Fuze wont work with home stereo

The Sansa doesn't play music through the USB port. You can connect the Sansa to your stereo via the Sansa's headphone jack.

How do i get my sansa e250 to conncet to my tv

Plug a 1-to-2 audio jack from the headphone jack of the Sansa to two audio inputs (red and white) of the TV. Change your TV's source channel to the appropriate input (AV1, AV2, Video 1, Video 2, etc). Find the song on your Sansa and press play. you may have to adjust the volume on the Sansa AND on your TV.

Sansa MP3 player charges, plays while plugged into wall, but not unplugged.

When you plug it into the wall make sure you turn it off and let it charge all the way before you start using it again. see if that helps

Can I play my mp3 slide show on my av equipment? If so, how.

TV must have a r,w,y (composite) input - easy enough; must have a 1 to 3 jack from headphones of mp3 player to TV (easy enough); Mp3 Player must have an A/V OUT instead of just an Auido Out (most headphone jacks are Audio OUT only). The menu settings of the Mp3 player will also have a LINE OUT option or AV OUT.

I'm afraid this player just doesn't fill the bill.
