Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
I want to install more ram in my computer. i have 256 MB now and have installed another 256 MB but my computer wont start with it in. is there a way to install more memory on my computer?
Check if your new RAM is properly inserted. Also, see if the speed matches the other, original one. You might be mixing speeds that gives you some trouble. Another way is to swap the RAM, place the new one to the slot of the old one. Also, check if your motherboard will allow more memory to be added in your system. You may have reached the maximum memory capacity.
