This is a problem with some parts of the copier, I belive you can still print abd scan with this mulitfunction printer, so what's the best thing that you can do here is to check if there any foreign object that got inside the the unit and also check the parts if still propelry conencted to each other a assembly guide will be helpful for you...

Hope that helps.......

Check if the ink carrage is mooving freely on the rail, it looks like a mechanic problem.

Check if there is any foreign object inside the machine , like a small screw. Eventually turn machine upside down and shake it a bit.

Check if the ink carriage can moove feely on the rail, try to understand if it is the carriage stuck that make noise.

Problems of this kind are caused by mechanic faults, usually, if you do not find the problem with a general inspection, a technician must take the printer apart and assemble it back after finding the problem.

Check if something is obstructing the carriage, or the paper.

If the motor is making noise and not running you may need to replace it

Makes a terrible clanking when I turn it on.

Deb, unplug the saw and open the covers that allow full access to the top and bottom big wheels. Slowly turn the bottom big wheel by hand to see if you can determine what it banging. Perhaps the blade is very loose. This is tightened by turning a handwheel probably located on the very top of the saw. Knowing how tight to make this is pretty much by trial and error, but if you can easily deflect the blade (half-way between the wheels) by 1/4 inch, then it's too loose. If a loose blade is not the problem, remove the blade (wear gloves) and see if both the upper and lower wheels move OK without banging. From there, it depends on what you find!
Good luck,

My 2000 Subaru Outback has a loud rattle from the rear gate (ie door)

Check your rear stabilizer bar an make sure that all the bolts are still intact. You may also want to crawl under the vehicle and give your muffler a shake to ensure that no mounts are missing. these are the most common issues associated with rattling from the rear of vehicle.

Why is my 1987 300e Mercedes making a loud clanging noise at start up?

I would think the honeycomb ceramic "Brick" inside the Catalytic Converter has broken up, makes a terrible rattling when this happens.

I have a 2005 Dodge 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi. when I start out in forward or reverse it makes a popping noise sometimes and you can feel it shaking.

Just a guess, but it sounds like the U-joint on your drive shaft could be going…With a cool vehicle of course, you should be able to lay under the vehicle and physically grab the drive shaft and turn it back and forth and hear a clang or feel the looseness etc…You won’t hear the pop till the torque is applied...It’s not an expensive job, of terribly difficult to repair yourself…tg

Fridge makes an odd rattling or woodpecker like sound intermittently. What could this be? Thanks.

If you have an icemaker, that would be the sound of either the mechanism emptying the cubes or the water valve shutting off. If the water valve is going bad, or the switch that shuts off the water valve is going bad, the water valve may 'chatter'. If this is the case, try shutting off the icemaker, or even the water supply to the unit to see if it stops.

If you don't have an icemaker, then the circulation fan may be rattling a bit or has something in it, like a bit of paper. Circulation fans are typically behind a panel in the freezer sectionon most models.

Some units rattle the metal cooling pipes a bit when the compressor motor starts up. This is a more metallic clanging sound.

If it's a very sharp repeated clicking noise, that may be the sound of the motor-start capacitor going bad.
