Question about ViewSonic ViewMate CW2206 DHCW2206 Keyboard/Mouse

Cursor seems like it needs to be callobrated...

I work and write a lot of documents and use the wireless usb viewsonic CW2206 keyboard & mouse. When using the mouse when trying to put the cursor in the middle of a word the mouse/cursor actually will "point" to the sentence above. Another example is when closing a web page I have to position the mouse cursor just right which is directly under the red boxed Xand to the left. Is there a way to callobrate or should I need to update the driver? I have looked for an hour trying to find a free download driver for this and was unsuccessful. Can you please assist? Thank you in advance for you help.

SOURCE: not responding to movement

Dear Stef, First try replacing the mouse's batteries, if this fails then try resetting it using the reset button - both on the mouse and the receiver. If you experience trouble resetting, you may try to disconnect the receiver and the mouse physically. Unplug the receiver and take off the mouse's batteries and then reconnect them.

I have an hp wireless mouse, and it doesn´t work!! Tried everything...

Wireless device like the mouse needs a wireless connectivity to a computer like a bluetooth or a wireless receiver. Make sure that your mouse batteries are all working and the wireless receiver is properly plug into the USB(Universal Serial Bus) port of the computer. The wireless receiver don't need battery so you don't have to worry about it. The two both have a push button, press both buttons to activate the connection. Wireless connections has limit in distance so make sure that you are not too far away from the receiver while using the mouse and that is 9 feet or 2.7 meters so keep that in mind. When the cursor moves when you move the mouse, you have connected the mouse properly. If the cursor doesn't move, try repositioning the receiver. If it still doesn't work, you may need to restart your computer (if you haven't already) or reconnect everything.

Hope this could help you a lot..:-) Thanks..

Mouse Stops Responding

You need to reset the mouse and keyboard to the sensor. On the sensor(base) you should have a button and under the mouse you should have also a button. Press the sensor(base) button first and quickly the one under the keyboard and mouse. If the doesn't work shut down the system, unplug the mouse and keyboard sensor(base) and re-plug it back in . Start the system and try the process again.

You need to sync the mouse with the USB receiver. They'll be a similar button on the receiver. Push both at the same time.
