It is possible that the amplifier had encountered a fault with a higher current drain which had triggered it to a protection fault condition. The fault can be your output drivers- the MOSFETS/IC's fitted for both the channels, Use a meter after disconnecting to check for short in the drivers. Disconnect the positive and negative voltages to the output and see if the protect changes. Even a fault in the preamp stages that drives in high current into the output can shut the Amplifier. Sometimes this can be a noise like a HUM or HISS before the protect works. Faulty capacitors in these circuits also can cause similar issues and needs close observation.
You need to confirm and replace the specific stages or outputs. If not there can be issues in the mother board, maybe the protect circuit by itself is shutting off due to a faulty bias , maybe a leak in any voltage/current sensing circuit. Also disconnect the speakers and test, if the protect is off then check for short on the speakers

You may have a speaker connected that the amplifier cannot drive. Your receiver is compatible with speakers with 6-8ohm rating, however, even though your speakers may be operating within that range they may also have low sensitivity.
With the receiver turned off, disconnect the power cord for a few minutes, reconnect and then power it back on. And while you're behind the unit, that would be the convenient moment to inspect your speaker terminals...check for cracks, evidence of arcing and any stray pieces of strand wire that can touch the chassis or other terminals. If any of those conditions exist then that can a root cause of the problem and will have to be repaired.
You must also ensure that all of the chassis vents are not blocked and the unit does not have another device on top of it that also generates heat as well. In any event, keep it cool.
After that, enter into your speaker setup menu and adjust your crossover to a higher point for whichever speaker you had the failure. This will help control the overload condition, if in fact, it is being caused by your amplifier ability to drive your current speakers.

If after all of the above is performed and the condition still exists, try speakers with compatible ohm rating but higher sensitivity.

Its showing F70 error on display. Only workd on DVD mode, when i turn it on any other mode it just shows F70, switch power off. All fuses are ok, no any visibly damaged components

The fuse is a part of the problem it is for safety measures
the problem is in between the power supply regulators, capacitors and power amplifier circuit board.
usually a regulator or an output transistor can cause this error.
hope this helps.

What does f70 overloads means

Sounds like either an amp problem or a fan problem. Either one can send a F70 code. Check and see if the rear fan is turning freely, it might just be dirty and can't spin easy

Panasonic SA-he75, displays an F70 error.

The F70 error is a code for "protect". See the link below for a general explanation of protect mode. Specifically for your unit, the output amplifier IC has failed. This can be replaced, but the parts cost will be in the $100 range. Please update this if you have further questions.

Thanks,
Dan

F70 problem

Look up "Panasonic F70 error" on Google and you will find plenty of discussion about this problem.

The F70 is a blown fuse error. It looks like you can can the fuse yourself, if so inclined, otherwise send it to a service agent.

SA HE200 Code F70 problem

Hi,

Error F70 as you have found out is a blown 1.25Amps fuse. To my knowledge, Germany uses 220 Volts 50 Hz. Pls verify if the Panasonic is rated at 220 or 240 Volts and 50Hz or 60Hz. The frequency or voltage settings might have to be set appropriate to your local settings.

Alternately, It may be that your fuse is rated to be a fastblow type meaning that it will instantaneously burn out on certain occasion even under normal usage. A quick but dirty solution is to use a slowblow fuse. As the name implies, it is still a fuse and it will still burn out if anythings goes wrong. However, it may take a bit more time before reacting. The time difference would spell the difference between constantly changing your fuse or allow more time before it blows (if it will really ever blow). There is however of course the possibility that if and when something is really wrong inside the Panasonic, the fuse being a slowblow may hesitate a bit longer and allow more damage.

It is normal for devices such as these to have a higher initial current than the running current and fuses are rated normally on a compromise between the two.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
