My wireless router has dropped it's security code. How do I reinstall the security code so other people cannot log onto my router.

You can do a factory reset.
1 unplug all cables to router.
2 Hold down small reset button behind router, use a pen tip to hold this button in for 30 seconds.
3 Reconnect cables,power cable first.

5 once all lights are on log into router and go to wireless security page.Make sure wep is checked and active.
There you can change your key, write this number down for future.
Once done click apply.router may restart again.

This will resucure the router.

Connected wireless to router, excellent signal, but unable to connect to internet.

connected to wireless router with excellent signal may not means you are connected to internet. make sure your modem provided by internet service provider has signal! connect your computer to modem directly bypassing router. If you are online that means your internet is functional. Then connect modem to your Linksys router and use your wireless to log on to internet.
Your router wireless signal active and excellent means you are connected to router not necessarily the internet. The modem supplied by your internet service provider with active internet should be connected to you router on WAN port!
good luck!!

I'm trying to log onto my wireless router with my PSP however i need to find me WEP password how do i do this?

The WEP encryption is configured in the wireless settings of the wireless router. Open a WEB browser and type in the IP configuration address of the wireless router and goto the encryption setting to view the encryption code. Then goto the PSP wireless setting and enter the wireless router's encryption code.

D-Link router wont let me go onto the net with the wirless router

At the bottom right hand corner of your screen, you have a wireless connection icon. right click and view available wireless network...if you see your network there. connect to that network, if secured, then call d-link to verfiy what is your network key. if it is unsecure then you can log on right away.

if that wont allow you to connect then upgrade firmware of router.

Web log rest on actiontec gt704wg

According to the user's manual, the user interface doesn't seem to provide an option to "reset" the log. You can view it, and set how often it refreshes while you're looking at it, but I don't see any way to delete or reset the data.
