I have apply NO TRACK software on my windows xp. Now itn shows NTDRL MISSING want I start my Laptop i have tried alot to fix it but none is helpfull. Please help me soon.

Hi,

The error can be resolved by the following steps,
  • Insert the Windows XP bootable CD into the computer.
  • When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press any key.
  • Once in the Windows XP setup menu press the "R" key to repair Windows.
  • Log into your Windows installation by pressing the "1" key and pressing enter.
  • You will then be prompted for your administrator password, enter that password.
  • Copy the below two files to the root directory of the primary hard disk.
  • In the below example we are copying these files from the CD-ROM drive letter, which in this case is "e." This letter may be different on your computer.
copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
Once both of these files have been successfully copied, remove the CD from the computer and reboot.

Regards,
Shrey

Ntldr is compressed or ntdrl and my xp wont boot

ntldr is telling you the boot loader is not present.
reinstall the operating system or try to copy a MBR from a working computer with exact same operating system.

Dell 100l ntdrl missing on start up

Hi,
For some reason your boot files are missing.
ntldr ( NT loader ) is one of the main boot files that is missing.
possibly a boot sector virus.which corrupts the ntldr file.

Put the disc back in, and you can choose to either install the O/S, or you can repair the current O/S, go for the repair,

Should resolve the problem,

Then run a full system vius scan,

Should be good then

Regards
Richard.

It has the drivers for Windows 98/2000/Me/XP.
Compressed, it is about 11 M. Nero disk Image about 18 M.
The CD itself is 15.2 M.
The compressed version is self extracting.
If you are able to accept an Email of that size, I can send it to you.

Continuous restarting with winxp

On computers that contain Windows 98 and Windows XP: ? Windows 98 must be installed on a basic disk on a partition formatted with FAT or FAT32. If Windows 98 or Windows Me is not installed on the system partition, which is almost always the first partition on the disk, the system partition must also be formatted with FAT or FAT32. ? Compressed DriveSpace or DoubleSpace volumes won't be available while you are running Windows XP. It is not necessary to uncompress DriveSpace or DoubleSpace volumes that you will access only with Windows 98. ? Windows XP must be installed last. Otherwise important files needed for starting Windows XP could be overwritten
