If you find your Mac is running slowly, there are a number of potential causes that you can check. Your computer's startup disk may not have enough free disk space. To make disk space available, you can move files to another disk or an external storage device, then delete files you no longer need on the startup disk.

I think you mean adding email address to your account (importing email address), If you've set up the account properly, then there's not much difficultly, just follow the instructions below
1. Open the Address Book application.
2. Choose Import from the File menu.
3. Navigate to the file that you exported from your previous application and select it from the list of files. Tip: if you cannot select the file, the 4. Open button will not pulsate. This may indicate that the file is not in a format that Address Book can read.
5. Click Open.
Your addresses (contacts) are now available for use in Address Book and all Mac OS X applications that work with Address Book.
On the other hand if you are importing addresses from previous version, the procedure is little different. Do let me know if you can't do with this. Good luck
perhaps you can export you're adress book and calendar in a file from the PC. Then ask ical and adress book on the mac to import it. (you launch the program and go to files/import)
