Same thing is happening to mine one, a 07 GS500. Did you manage to solve the problem?

The fuel petcock may be the problem. It works by opening a valve to let gas reach the carbs. It does this using a vacuum diaphragm drawing vacuum from the carbs. A gs500 will not work very well without an airfilter either. The carbs rely on proper vacuum to operate and a poor or no air filter will make a gs500 run very bad. Gs500s are air cooled also. If none of this solves the problem do a major tune up. Still nothing then take it to a mechanic. Taking shots in the dark gets expensive.

Sounds like it could be overheating. Is there any coolant in the radiator?

As with any no-start situation, you need to know if you have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and normal compression to proceed.

HUSQVARNA WILL STALL AFTER CUTTING MORE THAN 30 MINS

Something to try. I have a Craftsman ride on. When the motor is about to stall, loosen the gas cap. My gas cap vent was plugged and the mower would run fine for a while then stall like it was out of gas. I noticed that my plastic gas tank was collapsed a bit and found my problem.
I hope this solves yours or at least eliminates a potential cause.

Hesitation , skipping, engine cuts out when accelerating

Im having the same issue I believe. I have a 94\' Chevy 1500 and when i accelerate it will jerk like the gas has cut out but it wont stall. It just jerks and slows me down. It only seems to do it when going up a hill. I feel like it could be the fuel pump or possibly some intake gaskets?
