Try it in safe mode, (press F8 while its booting up) and select last known good configuration, if it doesnt start, turn it off then the F8 again but use safe mode; if it boots into windows you have a corupt driver, so run a system restore to the last saved point
If nothing works your boot.ini system file is missing and you will either have to use the recovery programme either F11 on boot up or Alt & F10 depending on model, but all your files will be lost and the system will be as new.
