HOW DO I RESTOR FACTORY SETTINGS ON SAMSUNG R450 LAPTOP

Welcome to Fixya.

First, make sure that your computer is turned off and remove all USB connections. Then turn on the laptop and start pressing F4 when the BIOS "Samsung" screen is showing. This will allow you to restore the original operating system from the recovery partition, if is there. (Also try the other Fn keys - F6 and F8 may do something).

You may need to contact Samsung's tech support if these wont work :

I want to take my acer aspire back to the factory setting but dont have a cd how do i do it

Acer are cheap and they don't provide you with a factory restore disk. You need to make this factory disk yourself. I know how to do this, but it is to much for me to type and here is a really really good reference site for you to visit to get instruction to make your own factory restore disk. After making that restore disc,  pop the disk into your laptop and turn of your laptop and restart and the factory restore program should start, if it should not start then go into your bios menu and have it boot from your Dvd-Rom and save, after full restoration, make sure you turn your boot priority back to where your Os is being installed, exm hard drive.

I need to restart my laptop to factory settings

if you want it to be factory settings, you would need the exact same Operatin Sytem installation disk which they probably didnt give you. The reason i say the same is because your serial numbers wont match as your original OS. Anyways if you only doing it to sell the laptop or two have a fresh Operating system, i would recomend you !1) Get a copy os Windows XP
2) Backup all your important files
3) Format your laptop and reinstall XP
4) Restore your files
5) Download (If you dont have it already) your drivers for your laptop. This can be found on Toshibas website.
6) Install all drivers and thats it. You have a Factory Set Laptop
