Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. file\boot\bcd status 0xc000014c info an error occurred while reading the boot configuration data.

Check the hardware connectivity of your Hard drive and Cd rom drive. Check if the wires are plugged properlyand are not loose. This error is generally thrown when your system is not able to find the boot sector in other words it is not able to find all he information (all necessary file pointers, kernel info And Master Boot Record etc) which it needs to start the system.

In most cases this is a temporary issue and occurs due to loose connections of the cables from Hard drive or CD Rom ( if the system is being booted up from CD).

Lost cd software for my belkin router

you don't usually need the cd for anything
but you you maybe able to find the manual and the instructions for whatever you're trying to do by going into the manufacturer's website
I strongly suggest you get the router model and all that info as you need the info that applies only to your router, here's how you find the info you need to start looking

if you need further instructions provide more details of your problem and your hardware and we'll try to help!

good luck

Will not go past Windows start up page, just freezes on Windows is starting up.

You probably need to run chkdsk.

You grab your (xp?) cd and put it in the drive, and have the computer boot from cd.

Choose repair when you have the option.

It should come to a C:>

Type chkdsk /r

When done, remove the CD and restart.

Ok I had the kenwood KDC-MP235 installed and...

The front aux input is only capable of accepting audio signals and definitely won't display any track tags.

If you have an iPod, I think with the KCA-iP500 adapter it will display song info on the front as well as allow control from the Kenwood's controls.

As far as the song info on a CD - it should display if you've got a CD with CDTEXT info on it, or if you're playing an MP3/WMA CD. Most regular audio CDs won't be able to display song info.

No cd or cd track info

only certain cds have the track info on them. most cds will just come up as a track listing. some cd manufacturers put the track info on at production but most do not. try to burn a cd and label
all of the tracks as well as name the cd. if it does not show the names then something else might be up.

Not Playing CD's

info 3 means the radio can't read the disc as in the disc is dirty or damaged. More than likely it's not the disc, but the laser is failing. Time for a professional cleaning or replace the deck.
