I changed an ink cartridge and was sure I had it properly snapped into place; however, after charging the ink, I am getting a printer error has occurrer error. It tells me to turn off the printer, thenpress On button to turn on and to see documentation. When I turn it off and back on, it sounds like it's charging and suddenly stops with a horrible noise and gives me the same error. The only documentation I have is the on-line users guide and I'm not having any luck getting back in operation. The Ink box seems to be what is jammed as I cannot get to it to open it and since I just changed a cartridge when the problem happened it is only logical to think I might not have it snapped in. What now? Thanks for any assistance.
After going through the on/off thing for a while, I noticed that most of the paper in the loader had been sucked in and assumed that might be the problem. I thought that would explain the bad sound too. I also unplugged the printer while it was off for a couple of seconds and the problem went away. Hope this helps someone.

Yes and No. Non branded ink cartridges need to be properly programed to work correctly. If you are going to buy non branded, make sure you can trust the seller. Research the seller and you should be ok. Branded is always the best but also always more expensive and non branded always comes with a degree of risk.
