The inner glass on our oven has fallen off, it still has the outer glass, is it ok to use or will it explode the glass? Does it need to be replaced or can it be glued back on? Thanks

How do I replace bulbs on model DS5603 Mod G electric fireplace

Do you need to replace the upper or lower light bulbs?

For both, first open the door of the fireplace. For the upper light, locate the upper bulb bracket (above the door). Bend the bracket down. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with 7 W clear chandelier or candelabra bulb with an E12 base. Bend the bracket back up to its original position. Close the door, if only the upper bulb is out.

You will need a Phillips blade screwdriver to replace lower bulbs. Open the door (if it wasn't already open). Locate the screw that holds the log set in the center of the ember bed. Remove that screw and the log set. Locate the bulbs that are behind the log set and determine if one or both bulbs need to be replaced. Unscrew the bulb(s) to be replaced. Screw in the replacement 60 W clear chandelier or candelabra bulb with the E12 base. Replace the log set and press firmly against the glass. Replace the screw that holds the log set. Close the fireplace door.

The procedure to replace the bulbs is on page 4 of the service manual. It is also on pages 10-11 of the Owner's Manual. The documentation is available from Dimplex: http://www.dimplex.com/en/customer_support/technical_and_troubleshooting . The direct link to the service manual is http://www.dimplex.com/cms/publications/7400650000R04.pdf . The Owner's manual is here: http://www.dimplex.com/cms/publications/7206570100R09.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I HAVE A MODEL HOE-HT-L2 THE INSRTUCTIONS ARE NOT CLEAR AS TO SET THE TEMP CONTROLS

Greeting Cyril Hrachovy,

"Say" 22 is an example... You should input whatever temperature where you are comfortable ...

Our master bed room has it's own controls... but usually the vents have been blocked shut... or have magnetic diverters (plastic shields) on the vents... where the thermostat is all warm & happy across the room while I'm freezing against the glass...

A happy medium has to be struck
- between the IVORY-TOWER instruction writer... and
the sun soaked rain drenched REAL WORLD in which
we live (I'm just saying).

Programmable THERMOSTATS are get (fun)... but in reality
the automatic features are soon abandoned... (harmony)
and the REMOTE favors the fickle.

I have a Kenmore dehumidifier 58053701300. It worked fine for maybe five summers, but I couldn't get it going this past June. It just would not turn on. I checked the outlets. No problem. No...

I will start to dig into this one and see what I can find as far as measurments for voltage. In the mean time, you said the bucket was ok, but did you check to see if the shut off float switch is operating and moving freely and not bound up some how. It should also have a slight clicking sound as the switch is made and unmade.

A/c fan not working=thermostat is working(central a/c system)a/c

The fan on the outside unit is powered from it's 240 volt source. Check that the breaker for the outside unit is not tripped. Also, a contactor is inside the outer unit that starts the fan - it may be faulty.
