Re: internal 512 is invisible

There is a switch on the SD card that allows you to lock it. Check if the switch isn't on the "locked" position, that might be what's making its content inaccessible. Hope this solves it!

Replaced SD card now Shaker won't play

Hi Cathi!

Few things you need to know about Sansa Shaker and the SD card:
  1. The Sansa Shaker DOES NOT support SDHC memory cards. Only regular SD cards are supported.
  2. Maximum capacity for supported SD cards - 2GB!
  3. Any SD card which doesn't meet the requirement above might cause the problem you encounter. REPLACE the card with a supported one - SD card with up to 2GB in capacity.
  4. No software/data is stored or needed to be on the memory card - apart from your music files.
  5. MP3 file type is fully supported by Sansa Shaker.

Just bought a mini clip mp3 player without internal memory. Put in a 2Gb Micro SD card. Computer will play music from device but unable to play music through the mp3 player itself.

browse through the mp3 player setting very well and you will sure find an option to link the music on your SD card to your player.

take care

Plug into USB port. Use Windows Explorer to view contents of your PC. You will see two drives associated with your Mix Max. The first is your internal memory the second is your SD card. Drag and drop files into this file. These can then be played by choosing card from menu

When i connect joybee in my pc, i can not see my files

umm are your files on the mp3 players hard drive or on an SD card?

if they are on the harddrive, plug the usb cable into computer and mp3player, go to 'My Computer' there should be a new drive found called Joybee '130 (E,F,G,etc:)' double click this drive, withinn the drive should be three folders, FMRadio, MICIN, and MP3, double click mp3, drag and drop (or copy-paste) the mp3 files into the folder and you should be good.

If your files are on an SD card, you will need an SD cardreader, plug the cardreader into the computer, and again drag and drop(or copy-paste) the mp3 files onto the card

Joybee 130 MP3 plaer

Plug your player into your computer via USB. If Windows recognizes it, a new drive should show up under "My Computer". It may be called "Removeable media". It may be some letter like "G" or "H". If you have an SD card bigger than 512 MB, then find the removeable drive that is bigger than 512 MB that shows up when you plug in your MP3 player and that drive is your SD card.

Once you insert the memory card I believe it mixes the songs on the player's internal memory with the memory card's songs.

Using the extended memory feature via SD card

With my Joybee 130, the SD card appears as a separate drive when you plug the player in. In Media Player, I have to select the correct storage device and set up the transfer by playlist using Tools Options Device, then Sync the device. If you are using Explorer to copy files to your device, again, check to see if a second drive letter appears in the directory tree. Good luck
