Hi there many things that can cause this fault main reason: the device is in protective mode and wont let anything to happen to the reciver and its components - the amp is shorted - its heating up - short in the voltage regulator - and many more..... my advice....: if its in warranty then fix it if u understand what i just wrote then open it up and look for the problem and if neither of these are relevent.... then just take to somebody that does good luck windman

When I turn it on it stays on for just a few seconds and it turns off with the red on syanby blinking , what's going on there?

try turning off for 30 seconds and then back on while pushing speaker, A & B Buttons at once. If this doesn't work it could be the capacitors in the power supply.

Denon AVR881 Turns on for few seconds then shuts OFF

(Probably too late to help you, but I'll post so others can see)
I had the same thing happen to my trust AVR-881 two weeks ago. Even re-initializing the processor was no help.
I took it to the repair shop. They replaced three transistors on the board, and charged about $175 for the job.

Denon av receiver switches off

replace all the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply. i had the exact same problem with mine and once i replaced the capacitors it powered up and stayed on and worked perfect.
these capacitors tend to fail as they're of poor quality.
this fault is very common on denon receivers, especially the later models.

hope this helps?

Receiver cuts inself off about 15 seconds after you turn it on

you need to check your speakers connections to make sure nothing is touching and all is connected right and not to have to many spkrs on the channels, also only have the skrs on that you are using, make sure zone 2 / 3 are off and multi volm is turned down
