Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
The last week I was working under normal circumstances with my HP pavillion laptop 17" (purchased in 2007) but suddenly it was turned off without any advice or sound. What happened??
Do you have an idea what's going on? I contacted HP people and they are requesting the computer back for repair! But, I would like to know what is going on with this computer(s)?? What about the data in the hard disk??
Please, let me know.

This is a known issue from HP. HP found that some notebooks are having problem with the mother board and HP recalled such type of notebooks for free serivce.
If your notebook model is found in the below weblink, you can contact HP for free mail in service.
Comming to the data in the hard drive. The data is safe and you can backup your entire data in the below process.
You can use this hard drive case and backup the data on any other laptop or desktop either at home, office or any other friends place without opening the system.
You just need to remove the hard drive from the laptop and put the laptop hard drive in the USB hard drive case and then connect it to USB port.
And the case is available in any computer stores near you.
