Yesterday I bought a Logitech M505 mouse. It works well but I have to put a lot of pressure on the button to click. After having used it two days, my hand hurts. Before I used the mouse which came with the ACER computer (Aspire Z5600), but that one stopped working. The ACER mouse was far superior. If there is nothing I can do to the mouse I bought, which one would you suggest buying? Thanks in advance. Jan

It sounds like you got a bad mouse.
Logitech is not that bad they know about the Mouse. They've been dealing with mouses for many years and before Windows.
You may want to get a different model.

I have a Logitech Laser Mouse #M-RBY125. While typing the cursor jumps to different places on the page or disappears completely. Windows automatically open for no reason. Sometimes highlights sentences...

To adjust your mouse movements: To change the pointer speed and customize your cursor, please do the following:
  1. Launch SetPoint (Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboard > Mouse and Keyboard Settings).
  2. Select the My Mouse tab and click the Mouse Movement tab on the left. Select the Wireless Mouse M505/B605 from the Select Mouse drop-down list.

  3. Use the sliders and check boxes to find the mouse settings that are right for you. Click Help to find detailed descriptions of these options for your mouse.
  4. Click Apply to save your settings. Click OK to exit SetPoint.

I have bought Logitech wireless mouse M505. Which program do I need now?I simply need to support the mouse with the program

Windows will use a generic mouse driver to operate the mouse, no other software is required.

> Turn off the computer, plug in the USB dongle for the mouse, put the batts in the mouse, and turn on the 'puter.

Windows will recognize the mouse at startup, and you can fine-tune the settings if you wish. <

...However...Should your system be one of the stubborn few that refuses to make it easy, then DL the Logitech drivers/install software from this site:

Problem with LOGITECH S 510 cordless keyboard and mouse..

Hello,

I have this same keyboard/mouse set and love/hate it when the batteries die. After you change the batteies, power on your pc, press & hold the connect button on the bottem of the keyboard first and then the connect button on the transmitter. Release them and wait for a few seconds. Repeat the same steps for the mouse.

When I have connection issue with this keyboard after new batteries, I have found most of the time the problem is the connection to the pc and/or batteries in wrong. Good Luck

Logitech Mouse V320 Corless Optical Mouse not working

The warrenty period is usually a year. Is there a connection button on the receiver as well? Normally you need to press the connect button on the mouse, and then on the receiver shortly there after. If you want to replace it, you might have an easier time just getting a new mouse.

Logitech MX610 problem.

Hi, I have had the same problem with a Logitech Cordless Desktop setup. The mouse and keyboard had been used in an office environment for about two years, then the mouse would double click unexpectedly, would not hold items when trying to drag them and the right click would sometimes fail to work ...then sometimes it would work perfectly. I tried all the other suggested cures such as cleaning out the inside of the mouse, new batteries and reinstalling the driver which did not prove to be effective. A good clean improved things for a couple of days but the symptoms returned. At this point, I dismantled the mouse and resoldered some suspicious looking joints on the circuit board inside, especially those attaching the microswitches for the mouse buttons. Since then, none of the problems have recurred. I presume that repeated pressure on the switches over time had cracked the solder joints which caused the mouse to behave erratically. You could try this, but dont get the joints too hot or you will damage the switches or other sensitive components. Simon.

Do i need a disk for mouse to work

Hey bigbufford,
You may want to search for the drivers from the manufacturers site if it's offered in the paperwork. If not, I have always found drivers by just typing in the brand, model and manufacturer on a Google search.

Here's the site I have used
