Question about Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera
I have exactly the same problem with my camera, except there is no error message - just the screen is off (bat is full). i cant find a soultion anywhere in the manual or online. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

First of all the manual is available on this site, in case you'll need it in the future. the manual says that if you have a "lense error" message it means the lense is obstructed, i'm guessing against it in your case, but its worth while checking to see if theres nothing jammed in its track. it's actually a known, and common problem with these small casios. i heard that a quick fix is that when it happens the camera battery has to be removed, and that should clear it, but the problem can also return, and after a while that trick won't do the trick any more. if you want to have it fixed while still in warranty don't wait to see if any of the common "blow air into the..." or "use some epoxy" fixes help you, you can try all that later. good luck
