You can try to fix it by oiling the fan but they dont last really long.
The best thing is to replace it,its not to expensive to buy and you can do it your self.

Fridge/freezer Samsung3116NW very noisy from left fridge wall Ithink

if the left side of your fridge is the freezer compartment , chances are you have a bad circulation fan . I would suggest replacing the fan motor assembly . The circulation fan is located at the rear of the freezer mounted to the evaporator cover .

Hi, I have a Electrolux EOG 900 builtin gas oven & gas grill, fan very noisy. Its 10 years old, willl the grill & oven pack in if the fan gives up altogether. Would it cost alot to fix. Hope to...

They won't pack up.. The fan is there to circulate the warm air. It might not heat up or cook as quickly as it used too. It will not cost much to fix though, labor will usually cost more than the part itself.

Good Luck

Circulating heat

Hello. In the winter you do not want the air coming directly at you, instead you want it to be pulled away from you and mixed with the other air in the room.

Amana ABD2533DEB Bottom Freezer - Fridge not working

Sounds like the circulating fan is either gone or is going bad. This problem is hard to diagnose because sometimes the fan will run but not fast enough to circulate the air through the freezer and refrigerator. I would have your repairman look at this or if you have the know how then you can order the fan and replace it yourself.

Fan underneath frig is running but no cold air is coming into the frig or freezer

The fan that is under the frig is the condensor fan(the fan the cools the condenser coils and the compressor. It does not have a direct effect on the chilled air circulation inside of the frig. The evaporator fan is the unit that circulates the chilled air thru your freezer and frig. I am not sure what make model unit you have, but I have found that this fan motor is 90% of the circulation problems i have seen.

Maytag bottom freezer. Freezer cold, refridge. not cold. De-iced freezer. Why does this continue to happen?

Sounds like your Freezer Fan is wearing out. When this happens it is very hard to diagnose. The reason is that the fan is turning, but at far less rpm's then iss necessary to keep the air circulating thru the freezer and refrigerator. Then minimum cost to repair/replace this fan is $300.00. But this will releave the problem.

The fridge section is warm, the freezer is OK

sounds like the circulating fan is wearing out. This fan supplies circulation for the freezer as well as the refrigerator when the motor for this fan starts to wear out the circulation supplied is reduced to a point that the freezer will work but not the refrigerator because the fan does nnot run fast enough to circulate the air thru the refrigerator. The minimum cost to repair/replace this fan assemble is around $300.00

Noisy Motor

The compressor is normally pretty quiet, more of a deep hum so the noise is probably coming from either the fan that circulates air inside or the one that pusshes or pulls air through the evaporator coils under the cabinet. Probably has Chinese fan motors by now -

Have a 2 year old SAMSUNG RS2545SH Side by Side

Control board has gone bad....

What happens is the defrost is controlled electronically from a circuit board, when this goes bad, the freezer quits defrosting, and freezes the fans that circulate air through the fridge side of things.

To check this, unplug the entire fridge, leave the freezer open, wait for it to defrost a bit, if this causes the fridge to start cooling again when you plug it back in, then its the defrost. You should also see ice crystals on the back of the freezer just under the icemaker.
