On Your Keyboard, Push The Print Screen Button (May Say "PRT SCR"), Nothing Will Happen. Open Paint, Or Some Photo Editing Program - I Recommend Paint - And Go To Edit>Paste. It Should Paste A Picture Of Your Screen. Ready To Be Saved From Paint To Your Computer. Another Trick, If You Hold Alt While You Push The Print Screen Button, It Will Take A Picture Of Just The Active Window You Are On.
Try this: first disconnect the power cord from the Printer, then disconnect the USB cable, then unplug the printer power cord from the wall. Wait 10 minutes and plug everything back in In Reverse Order. See if that does it. I had a similar problem with my PSC 1610v and that is what HP had me do and it worked for me.
Are you sure that there is not an "OK" button and you don't push the actual screen? I am guessing you have to find an "OK" button. I don't think that machine has a touch screen interface. I hope this helps.
Kristin, please perform a power cycle, reboot your computer then once it is on, reboot the printer too, this will reinitiate printing capability of the device.
