OT : Weird problem tuning TV

Have you recently plugged in a DVD player, VCR or ITVD box?

If so the output channel of one of these could be interfering with
BBC1.

Nope none of those, the only thing i've done is go behind the TV to paint
the wall, but then again i've checked that i didn't stand on any connections
and reseated them.
I cant understand how only BBC1 is affected, and only thru terrestrial and
not ITVD (which comes thru the arial as well)

Try a different preset for BBC1 - sounds like preset 1 is knacked

i have something similar with my sanyo video. all 5 'normal' channels (well
maybe channel 5 isn't exactly normal) tune in fine on the tv (although
reception through the rooftop aerial isn't great - wish they would come and
install cable in out area) and all tune in fine on the video except for
channel 4, even though the picture received for channel 4 is a lot clearer
than that for bbc1 and channel 5 for example... have tried fine tuning the
video but with no success. it used to work fine but then just stopped
earlier this year. if i video stuff on channel 4 now the picture comes
across fine but the sound keeps on cutting in and out. most annoying...
programs on other channels video fine. any ideas anyone?
