When a washer is leaking, there are several areas where the liquid could be coming from.
If it only leaks during a spin cycle, it's probably caused by a leaky drain hose

Leaks on a front-load washer can occur around the door seal. This can happen because of a build-up of dirt and soap on the seal itself preventing a proper seal from taking place. Wipe the door seal carefully making sure that the edge of the gasket is clean.
Parts of a plastic bleach dispenser can crack or break off, causing a leak intermittently during the flush process. This is because bleach is a very corrosive chemical. Heavy use of liquid chlorine bleach can pit and rust stainless steel parts..
You'll want to confirm that the fill hoses are connected and properly tightened. Always use new rubber washers when re-installing the hoses. Take care not to over-tighten the connection. Other leaks may be caused by the drain hose being cracked, or by a leaky connection at the water-inlet valve. Too many suds may cause the appearance of a leak when actually it's just a sudsy overflow. Sometimes a drain hose leak occurs at the end of the hose where it attaches to the washer. If the hose is long enough you can cut the leaky end off and re-clamp the hose back on. Usually though, when a hose begins to leak, it is best to just replace the hose.
Many pump leaks happen around the seal on the pulley. Some pumps have a weep hole that lets water drip out when this seal begins to go bad. The solution is to rebuild or replace the pump.
Tub leaks are usually caused by a rotted tub. If this is your problem, consider buying a new washer. Sometimes a constant imbalance can be the culprit. This imbalance can rub a hole in the tub if it consistently runs off-balance. It may be possible to repair the tub with an epoxy kit. Tub replacement isn't usually very economical.
The main tub seal can also leak. This is located where the transmission and the outer tub in the centre. If this seal goes bad, it can be very difficult to replace.
Sometimes the water-inlet valve develops a buildup of mineral deposits and rust. To check this, remove the water-inlet valve and visually inspect the surface.
There is a cool product that is designed to help prevent water damage from a leaky washer. It's called a Washer Floor Tray This tray catches water leaks and prevents floor damage from overflows. This product is a must for upstairs laundries

Need to know where filter is on the Lg top load wave force washer

Many times the hose gets mushy and either fractures or leaks from a weak point on the hose. In some cases the hose attachment leaks at the connecting point as the clamp is loose or the hose shrinks around the fitting.

My Samsung WA5471ABW top- load washer is leaking from underneath. Is there Nything that I can do to self-repair?

You bet there is. But first let's double check some common causes of leaks that may not be located under the machine. Step one is to check the drain hose behind the machine. If a machine gets pushed back too far it can kink or bind that hose and that can cause water to leak from underneath. If that looks okay check that the end of that hose is not inserted into the drain more than about 4 - 5." If it is poked down into the standpipe more than that it can cause a syphoning situation that can also cause leaking underneath. While you are back there check the hoses that lead up to the machine. Make sure the connections are dry. I can't tell you how many under machine leaks i have fixed that originated right there. Just run a finger under each hose connection. If finger gets wet the connection may need tightened ever so slightly with pliers. If all those check out fine let me know. We'll go deeper.

Pull the machine out, if the back is removable, take it off. the connection should be close enough to reconnect...next time? don't pull so hard. if this doesn't work, take it to a reputable Repair Shop/Dealer

Ultimate care supreme leaks underneath

First check the hoses to the machine. If they leak the water follows the hoses and drips on floor. Also check the hose connection at the washer. They will leak inside. Next it may well be a water pump going out or the plastic hose that is under pressure when operating. The pump is in the middle of machine underneth - Sorry - Good luck

Water Leaks from beneath my washing machine

Our WM2077CW just started the water leaking from underneath. We unplugged the electrical cord and disconnected the hoses (water, drain). We then removed the inspection plate from the back and checked for wet hoses. The big black hose on the bottom was a little wet. On careful examination we found a small hole that looked like a material fatigue failure at the point where the accordion part of the hose met with the solid part of the hose near the main drum connection. I suspect this is may occur in other LG washers of the same design. Unless your floor is perfectly level it's hard to tell whether coming from the left or right side really indicates where underneath the water is coming from.
