check the oil level. there is a low oil cut off.

Check to see if you model has a puel pump, f it is a Brigge & Stratton 10 hp I am sure it does

Does it have a puel pump? I know the Briggs motors have a fuel pump works of piston vacume

Make sure that the generator is full of oil. It has a low oil level sensor that will ground the spark if the oil is low. If you have filled it to FULL with oil and still have the problem disconnect the low oil level sensor (one wire) and check for spark again. IF you now have spark the oil level sensor has either failed or is dirty. (yes you can clean them with carb cleaner.)

If after doing the above you still have no spark... I need 2 things.
1. the actual model number off of the generator Will start with PM or PMO
2. the engine model number / type / series number off of the engine

Check for low oil level. If level is OK, check low oil level sensor. Disconnect the wire to test.

6250 trips out one side 220 with out triping bracker

I hate to ask,is there oil in it?There's a shut off for low oil level,it's to save the engine from starving for oil.

change spark plug and add small amount of starting fluid to breather pull with all settings in proper place if it is going to start it will or you have other problems
