Question about Emerson EWC1304 13 in. TV/VCR Combo
You need the original remote. The universals will not get in to the deeper functions. If you have a remote called One-For-All, they have some extended commands, that may do something for you. You have to call their 800 number for the extended commands. This type of remote is a hassle to use, because you have to use the function key and enter 3 digit number codes for the extra functions. If the set is still very good, I would strongly consider to invest in an original remote. If it is not available anymore, then start checking out the used electronics places, and the fleamarkets. I am sure that on the net you should be able to find someone who is selling the model you need.
