These tvs made by Panasonic have alot of times, goes into protect modes. When the tv power supply have some kinds power glits,by the power in ur house outlet.Tries unplug, replug the tv back like about an hour later. The tv now, will reset itself back to the factory. Most of the times, the tv will work again. If not,the shop, must troushooting which components on those boards are burns or must replaced a whole refurbish board, because can find it indiviual parts. The shop, will cost u for labors and parts, useally in the past fews years cost u like 500-550.Now,sorry.I don't know, must call and get estimate by shop by shops.
The red flashing light is the service code. My guess is the power supply is bad now, but it could be something else. If the TV is under warranty, take it in and get if fixed. If it is not, then you may try to check the power supply first. Count the flashes of the red light and check online for the issues when this model flashes, 4 times or 6 times... or 9 times, etc.
